Two consecutive Fellowcraft Degrees
In the first time in a very long time, Ivanhoe Lodge will be putting on two, count ’em, two Fellowcraft Degrees in one month.
One on Thursday November 4, 2010, which will also include a short regular meeting followed by a hearty festive board.
Next is two weeks later on Thursday November 18, 2010.
All Craftsmen are welcome to attend.

Ivanhoe’s Annual Builders’ Night
One of the longest standing traditions in Edmonton Freemasonry is Ivanhoe’s Builder’s Night. On Thursday September 16, 2010, an Entered Apprentice degree will be put on by brethren from the local building, construction, and engineering industries. It continues to be a well attended meeting of brethren from various lodges. Lodge tyles at 7:30pm at the Masonic Hall in Fort Edmonton Park, followed by the degree, and a festive board meal afterward. Join us! For parking, do not use main lot, take the side road further down to the gate, say you are with the lodge, then go left to the smaller dirt lot. Walk down historic 1905 Street and the hall is on the left. See map below…

Soccer (Football) and Masonry
With the World Cup happening right now in South Africa, W. Bro. Chris Hodapp, author of “Freemasons for Dummies” and past keynote speaker of the Alberta Masonic Spring Workshop, has a very interesting article on the Masonic origin connections with soccer (football).

Masonic Spring Workshop
One of the world’s top Masonic events, the 45th Annual Masonic Spring Workshop will take place over April 23, 24, and 25 at the Delta Lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta surrounded by beautiful mountainous scenery.
Brethren of Ivanhoe make this trip every year and invite all Masons to their hospitality suite on Fri. April 23 for some fellowship.
