Masonic lodges are supported by Three Great Pillars and Ivanhoe Lodge embraces their equation with three primary functional aspects of a lodge at work during and outside meetings:
Ionic Pillar of Wisdom: EDUCATION & ENLIGHTENMENT
Educational presentations are provided at every meeting in some form, followed by in-depth discussions. Candidates progressing through the degrees are encouraged to contribute original papers for presentation.
Doric Pillar of Strength: RITUAL WORK & CEREMONY
Brethren of Ivanhoe pride themselves on delivering quality ritual work memorization for all three degrees and ceremony presentations. Practices occur each month for brethren to fine-tune their skills.
Corinthian Pillar of Beauty: SOCIAL INTERCOURSE & FRATERNAL LOVE
Ivanhoe hosts several social events throughout the year, including pre-meeting festive board dinners, post-meeting lounge and pub nights, formal dinner and dance, anniversary dinner table lodge, billiard and bowling nights, family barbeques, and golf tournaments, to name a few.
