ABOUT OUR MEETINGS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Location<\/strong> — All meetings on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 7:30pm in 3rd floor Lodge Room “A”, Freemasons’ Hall, 103 Street – 100 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.<\/p>\n

Format<\/strong> — Regular meetings have a shortened business agenda with a short education or honourary presentation, followed by a longer social hour in the lounge and festive board meal.\u00a0 Emergent meeting formats alternate monthly between presenting degrees and a longer education presentations and discussions.\u00a0 Mentorship for new brethren is also presented regularly on the preceeding degree.<\/p>\n


2012 CALENDAR<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

March<\/strong>
1st – Business meeting:\u00a0 Education:\u00a0 Reflection of the three degrees by newly raised brethren.
15th – Emergent meeting:\u00a0 1st degree by officers of Ivanhoe (possibly 4 candidates).<\/p>\n

April<\/strong>
5th – Business meeting:\u00a0 Master Mason Prove-Up and VSL Presentation.
19th – Emergent meeting:\u00a0 Educational evening and open discussion on Masonic Spring Workshop Theme “Our Future Through Our Past” as well mentorship presentation for the new Apprentices.<\/p>\n

May<\/strong>
3rd – Business meeting:\u00a0 Education: A short paper reflecting on the first degree by the new EAs. Discussion to follow.
17th – Emergent meeting:\u00a0 2nd Degree by officers of Ivanhoe.<\/p>\n

June<\/strong>
7th – Regular meeting:\u00a0 Business and awards evening. Several brethren are receiving pins, jewels, and bars.
21st – Emergent meeting:\u00a0 Educational evening (to be confirmed). Mentorship training for the new Fellowcraft and all brethren.<\/p>\n

July & August<\/strong>: no meetings.<\/p>\n

September<\/strong>
6th – Business meeting: \u00a0DDGM Official Visit. \u00a0Education will be a short paper reflecting on the second degree by the new Fellowcraft. \u00a0 Discussion to follow.
20th – Emergent meeting:\u00a0 TABLE LODGE!<\/p>\n

October<\/strong>
4th – Business meeting:\u00a0 Education to be confirmed (hopefully a presentation by the DeMolay Chapter).
18th \u2013 Table Lodge in banquet hall:\u00a0 Also to be used as a mentorship evening for the new Master Masons.<\/p>\n

November
<\/strong> 1st – Regular meeting:\u00a0 Annual General Meeting and Elections. Education will be a short paper reflecting on the Third degree by the new Master Masons. Discussion to follow.
15th \u2013 Emergent meeting:\u00a0 Annual Builder\u2019s Night — 1st degree by Builder\u2019s Degree Team.<\/p>\n

December<\/strong>
6th – Business meeting:\u00a0 Annual Officer “Step-Up” Night.\u00a0 Prove-up proficiency by new Master Masons followed by VSL Presentation. (No education scheduled).
20th \u2013 Annual Installation and Investiture.\u00a0 Lodge opens at 6:30 PM followed by refreshment.\u00a0 Labour resumes at 7:30 PM.\u00a0 Banquet to follow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
