\"IMG_1230\"<\/a>The lodge theme for 2015 is “Courage and Fortitude”.<\/p>\n

“It has been traditional that on the first and third Thursday of the month, members of Ivanhoe Lodge and their visitors congregate to conduct lodge business or confer a degree. It has been a time for work, fellowship, and education. In our changing world, we must think about how we have done things in the past and determine if our methods best serve the lodge. If they do, we must ensure that these habits continue. If they do not, they must be changed, even if the change is controversial.<\/p>\n

“While there are many things in Ivanhoe Lodge that work very well, there are others we need to address. We need to have the Courage and the Fortitude to make changes in the way we do things. Do we need to read minutes at each Business meeting? Do we need to continue with our present method of Officer Succession, when we can see it doesn\u2019t work anymore? Do we need have two meetings a month at all?  Are we taking care of each other the way we should? These are all things we need to explore.”  – The Worshipful Master for 2015<\/p>\n
